Astonishing floor lamp Dafne designed by Olaf von Bohr for Italian manufacturer Valenti.

The shade from the lamp is made of fiberglass; it consists of two parts which together form the shape of a flower. The on/off switch has two positions, which allow independent use of the lights that shine upwards from the lights that shine downwards.

A pendant from the same series is described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 209 (1972).

Rare piece.
