Brown Vaga table lamp by Franco Mirenzi for Valenti, 1970s

Vaga table lamp designed by Franco Mirenzi in 1978 and produced by Valenti Luce.

The relatively heavy base provides a solid balance for the fairly large round metal top of the lamp. The lamp is made of metal and the on / of switch also works as a dimmer. The colour of this lamp is dark chocolate brown.

The condition of this impressive table lamp is excellent, it seems like it has never been used.

The Vaga table lamp is described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 269 (1979).
