Set of 12 swiveling wall spots of chromed metal designed by Gae Aulenti and Livio Castiglioni for Stilnovo, 1970s.

As described in a catalogue by Stilnovo these lamps by Gae Aulenti and Livio Castiglioni have been designed in various versions: “Three series of swiveling projectors having different projection, made of yellow or black Makrolon with chromed or white lacquered reflector. Every set includes the utilizations: ceiling or wall, rail track, recessed, suspension, table, floor; it uses paraboles allowing to obtain, together with a large range of bulbs, concentrated or widened beams.”

These lamps work best when used as wall lamps, however they can be used as ceiling lamps as well. The reflector is silver coloured. The condition of most lamps is very good; a minority has some small but -not disturbing- spots.
