Black metal and brass floor lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips, 1950s

A beautiful and rare floor lamp NX 546 E/00 by Louis Kalff for Philips Eindhoven.

Equipped with a black coated metal hood, with a small metal diffuser in the middle and at the bottom of the hood a Plexiglass diffuser. This allows the light to spread nicely at both sides. The lamp is finished with a brass accent at the end of the stem.

The lamp is completely original and in good condition, with some minor dents in the rim of the hood of the lamp (that are not visible) and one dent in the brass accent.
