Maniglia floor lamp designed by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi for Italian lighting manufacturer Stilnovo.
We found the following description in Stilnovo catalogue No. 50: “Swiveling floor lamp. Jointed and balanced arm of chromed metal. Reflector and transformer-holder of Makralon. One halogenous bulb 50 W – 12 v.”
The transformer is cleverly mounted at the end of the 92 cm long arm of the lamp. It acts as a counterweight so the lamp can move in all directions. The maximum height of the lamp is 162 cm.
The condition of the lamp is good, with some scratches on the base of the lamp.
The Maniglia table lamp is described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 219 (1973).
