Wing wall lamp in black and chrome by Bruno Gecchelin for O-Luce, 1970s

Bruno Gecchelin designed this halogen wall lamp Wing for Italian lighting manufacturer O-Luce in 1973.

The shade is in excellent condition, certainly considering its age and the potential heat the halogen bulb can produce. It is made of thermosetting material and can be directed towards each side. Hardly noticeable, but a small piece of the plastic ‘screw’ is missing. The dimmer of the lamp is integrated in the shade.

The lamp is attached to the wall with the black painted metal base. The chromed bow, with some minor spots, can be turned from wall to wall.

We have a similar table lamp in our collection, however not produced by O-Luce but by iGuzzini. Through the similarities these lamps form a nice pair.
