Louis Weisdorf, Danish architect and designer, created this gold Facet pendant light in 1963.  Facet consists of 18 identically shaped shades.

The construction of the lamp is a 3-D puzzle, as each piece fits into the neighbouring pieces and the lamp gets its original shape when all pieces are put together and a cylinder is formed. Weisdorf designed two versions, a silver and a gold Facet.

In case you would like to know more about the similarities and the differences between Facet and its successor Facet-Pop we advise you to have a look at the Discover section of our website.
