A beautifully balanced pendant, Model 2133, by Gino Sarfatti and produced by Arteluce in Italy.

According to Marco Romanelli and Sandra Severi in their standard work on Gino Sarfatti: “Reflective aluminium plate lacquered white on the bottom part. Fork-shaped support and bulb socket sleeve in black lacquered steel. The reflector dish ensures direct and indirect light at the same time.”

The pendant is described in the ‘Repertoire del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 245 (1976). In our archive we have found the lamp in a catalogue from 1974.

The lamp comes with a carefully selected light bulb (led); one which is exactly the same as the original light bulb, but gets less hot.
